Meet The Counselor
Hi, my name is Mariah Carnahan. I grew up in a small town in Emery County, called Orangeville. I am the youngest of 4 daughters and no brothers. My poor dad!
I married my husband, Jerry, in 2005 and a little over a year later we had our first child. A boy we named Corbin. He was followed two years later by a little girl named Brynlee. Over the years I have found a love for the outdoors; hiking, biking (both road and mountain), and camping with my family are all things that bring me joy. I also enjoy doing all sorts of paper and wood crafts and my mom has instilled a strong love for sewing all sorts of things. we moved to St. George in 2005, where I began my 2nd year as a special education teacher at Pine View Middle. I have had an impressive 15 years with the school district as a special education teacher in classrooms from elementary, middle, and up to Post High. I have loved every single minute of my career. I am now on my 3rd year at South Mesa as the school counselor and I am so I exited to continue this journey at South Mesa. |
