Individual Counseling Services
Individual counseling services are provided to students who may need additional support because of a crisis, a concern, or who simply who need to talk. Individual counseling services may be scheduled with parent permission and last between 6-8 weeks, once a week for 20 minutes.
Community Resources
Connect families to community resources that provide for physical needs: clothing, food, shoes, school supplies, discounted medical care and mental health services and more.
School-Wide Collaborative Classroom Presentations
School-wide classroom presentations provide all students with developmentally appropriate life skills; as well as social and emotional skills and strategies; and guidance in being an achieving and thoughtful member of their school community. fourth grade will receive an additional 8 Life Skills lessons to help aide in substance abuse prevention.
Small Group Counseling
Small group counseling can help children learn valuable cooperation and friendship skills, teach empathy, offer anger management strategies, support coping with grief and loss, help with adjustment to divorce, and many other life experiences. Small group counseling will be scheduled with parent permission and last 6-8 weeks, once a week for 30 minutes.
School Counselors prepare students for academics and learning, in personal and social development, in becoming a considerate multicultural citizen, and for their future life and career pathways.
